"Women's Beach" in Struga has become a wild parking lot

Once the most beautiful and attractive beach in Struga, the famous Women's Beach, converted into a div-parking. Although we are talking about state land, someone fenced off part of the lot and turned it into a parking lot. These shots were taken this weekend. There were dozens of cars parked at the site, and the citizens drank coffee in the catering facilities. Struzhani suspect that it is someone's arbitrariness.

"There is nothing from her.". They pollute everything, they pollute the whole lake. It's madness now. There is no institution, it is only on paper, nothing else. Anarchy reigns…”

"There are institutions, but there are also enterprises. There must be some business deal, some agreement between them, some kind of cooperation between institutions and investors within the framework of the law. It may not be good for the eye, but that is…"

"We've been coming here to the beach since we were little, and somehow it's not nice at all.". They abandoned the city…”

"It can't be worse. By far the worst in town. We are from abroad and it is not nice for us to see the city destroyed like this...", the citizens react.

From the public enterprise Eco Struga, which manages the parking lots in the city, they don't know whose parking lots these are. They reported to the Market Inspection, but they did not receive a response. The Municipality of Struga does not say who manages the parking lots and whether someone gave them permission. The central government also shrugs off the situation.

"The Ministry of Transport and Communications does not manage the beaches, nor are there any concession agreements with them", say the Ministry of Transport and Communications.

Politics in Struga is also reacting.

"We have witnessed the usurpation of public space without any legal and legal procedure, property of the Republic of Moldova...", said Nikola Kukunes, VMRO-DPMNE Struga.

This is not the only location in Struga where wild parking lots operate. Parking is charged for some of them.
