Sejdin Lloga's activity was extinguished – Burial today in Livadhi

He passed away with age 89 year, prominent activist and patriot from the Meadow of Struga, Sejdin Rent. Born with 6 October of the year 1931 in Livadhi of Struga, Sejdin Lloga is among the first students of this village during the period of opening the first Albanian schools in the territory of Struga. Growing up in a freedom-loving spirit, in a family with a national footing, Sejdini could not but participate in the activities of the time in the service of the Albanian national cause. For a period he was a teacher in the school of the village of Tatesh. He was the eldest son of Sami Lloga, another prominent activist of the national cause, with an extraordinary contribution to the opening of the first Albanian language schools in the district of Struga. Sejdin Lloga was the brother of the late Aliriza Lloga, teacher, MP and distinguished activist.

He was a participant in the foundation stone of the Eagle's monument in the city of Stuga in 1943, where as a student he sang the flag anthem. This has been one of the key moments in the further activity of Sejdin Lloga.

During the national movements of the years 1967 – 68, Sejdini and his comrades took action to raise the National Flag in the villages of Struga. Consequently, was arrested and convicted by the Yugoslav communist regime. He suffered extraordinary torture in prison, but did not surrender.

Even after his imprisonment, he continued his activities in the service of society and the nation, even to the last days of life.

Sejdin Lloga will be buried today (Monday, 4 January) of the hour 13 in the cemetery of Livadhi village.
