Coronavirus in Struga / 27 infected and 3 dead for a week

In the interest of informing the population living in the municipalities of Ohrid, Debrcës, Struga, Vevcani, Dibra and Zupa Center, The Center for Public Health Ohrid publishes data, information and recommendations regarding the outbreak of COVID-19 virus, for the last week in the territory of the above municipalities.

For the period from 10 until 16 October 2020.- materials (throat and nose swabs) for testing the presence of COVID-19 were taken from the total 147 persons in the municipalities of Ohrid, Debrcës, Struga, Vevcani, Dibra and Zupa Center and were analyzed in the laboratories of the Institute of Public Health Skopje-

From the total materials obtained, 84 were taken according to epidemiological indications (persons who meet the criteria for determining the case), and 63 materials were taken during testing with a recommendation from a family doctor - MY TERM-

From the total number of persons tested in all laboratories in this period, the presence of COVID-19 was diagnosed in the laboratory in total 79 person, 42 persons from the municipality of Ohrid, 27 persons from the municipality of Struga and 10 persons from the municipality of Dibra.

In this period they were healed 6 persons from Ohrid, 6 persons from Struga and 1 person from Dibra.

In this period, 3 persons from the municipality of Struga have lost the battle with the disease

Ka 78 active cases in Ohrid, 69 in Struga and 43 in Debar.

From the beginning of the epidemic until 16 October 2020:- the laboratory presence of COVID-19 was diagnosed in total 1533 persons in the municipalities of Ohrid, Debrcës, Struga, Vevcani, Dibra and Zupa Center, of which 496 persons in the municipalities of Ohrid and Debrca, 735 persons in the municipalities of Struga and Vevchani and 302 persons in the Municipality of Dibra and the Zupa Center, patients healed from Ohrid are 397, from Struga are 598, and from Dibra and Zupa Center are 244, from the municipalities of Ohrid and Debarca 21 dead patients, from the municipality of Struga 68 dead, and from Dibra and the Zupa Center died 15 person.

Let us emphasize that during this period the coronavirus is in local transmission and with increased activity. Coronavirus is transmitted by people who do not adhere to COVID-19 protection measures and recommendations. At this time, the only way to prevent infection and the spread of the virus is to strictly adhere to it and implement preventive measures to protect against COVID-19.
