Honorable citizens,
Today in front of you we are denouncing one of the biggest corruption scandals made by Ramiz Merko and his relatives. It is about extortion and theft of millions of euros from the Budget of the Citizens of Struga by the couple Ramiz Merko - Armen Kadriu, already for several years, through a dubious concession with full legal violations related during the second term of Ramiz Merko between the Municipality of Struga and a private company for public lighting.
SITI LAJT is the company, which for the maintenance of public lighting is receiving millions of euros from the Budget of Struga, from the budget of our families. Many in Struga have expressed doubts about the real owners of this company, while we are here to prove it with facts. The millions that the Municipality of Struga gives to this company go directly into the pockets of Ramiz Merko and Armen Kadriu and this is evidenced by the dozens of banking transactions provided by us which we will hand over to all media in the country.. We will provide you with data on dates, the amount and subjects of transactions, but not the original extracts, as we want to maintain source security.
The Public Prosecutor's Office and the Financial Police are also notified about all these transactions, while for the reason of their non-reaction, they will have to answer for themselves.
Millions of euros from SITI LLAJT have been paid into the private account of Armen Kadriu and his family and into the account of the PRIVATE UNIVERSITY OF RAMIZ MERKO.
These transactions best prove the connection of the MERKO - KADRIU clan with the company SITILLAJT and with the theft that is happening to us every day.
Since the scandal to be greater, The Government of Northern Macedonia paid them during this mandate 50 percentage of debts to municipalities. The municipality of Struga was allocated over 2 million euros, while Ramiz Merko among dozens of companies, chose exactly SITILLAJT to pay at once over 1.2 million euros from these funds. The reason is known.
On the other hand, we are witnesses to the services of this company. Entire villages and neighborhoods of Struga are in the dark every night and not at all safe, including the city center, Ladorishtin, Velesta, Oktisin, Meadow, Llozhanin, Vranishtën, Misleshova and many, many neighborhoods from which we have received denunciations.
Ramiz Merko to be accountable to the people of Struga for this crime?
I invite the relevant institutions to perform their task, while I also encourage the local media to further investigate this scandal. We are ready to cooperate with everyone.
For the end, I reiterate our main position. Before any promise from our Election Program, Our new government in the Municipality of Struga will start with a TOTAL REVIEW of all the works of Ramiz Merko. All abuses will be uncovered and of course, the authors will be responsible for every penny spent in vain from the Budget of the Citizens of Struga.
Dear Struga, this is the criminal power of Ramiz Merko during which only two families got rich, have built houses of millions, have bought land and great wealth, ride in cars of hundreds of thousands of euros, while citizens, the young people from Struga have been left as the only solution, LUGGAGE and leaving this place. more 31 October everything ends. Struga will come in safe hands and clean people.
