For the first defendant in the case of the burning of the Bulgarian flag that happened during the Vevcani Carnival, The Public Prosecutor's Office asked the court to sentence him from 7.000 euros. The other two defendants are seeking fines 5.000 euro fine, said the Public Prosecutor's Office. They are charged with a crime - Damage to the reputation of a foreign state by a member 181 of the Criminal Code. One of them set fire to the flag, and the other two picked him up and waved him while he was burning. Otherwise, Vevcani Carnival this year was held on its own initiative despite the ban on rallies due to the pandemic, and there was police intervention.

Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Struga, after conducting the preliminary procedure, submitted a Proposal for the issuance of a criminal order for three persons for the criminal offense - Violation of the reputation of a foreign state under Article 181 of the Criminal Code.
