Detected smuggling of goods worth 10.000 Euros at the Kafasan Border Crossing

On 28.01.2022 in 10.05 o'clock at the border crossing "Qafasan" on the way out of the country, after previously conducted activities by the Cross-Border Crime Unit Struga at the Regional Center for Border Affairs West, control of a "Mercedes" passenger vehicle was carried out, with Albanian national markings, managed by A.S. (55), where A.M. was a passenger.(47) . In doing so, products worth approx. were found in the vehicle 10.000 euros, without proper documentation. The persons and products have been handed over to customs officers for further proceedings in accordance with Art. 263 of the Customs Law.
