Idri Istrefi reveals a mega-scandal of Ramiz Merko, Armen Kadriu and the company CITY LIGHT

Dear citizens,
Today we are reporting to you one of the biggest corruption scandals made by Ramiz Merko and his relatives. It is about extortion and theft of millions of euros from the budget of the citizens of Struga by the couple Ramiz Merko – Armen Kadriou. This manipulation has been going on for several years through a dubious concession with many legal violations concluded in the second term of Ramiz Merko between the municipality of Struga and the private company for public lighting CITY LIGHT. This company for the maintenance of public lighting receives millions of euros from the Budget of Struga, from the budget of our families.

Many in Struga doubt the real owners of this company, and we are here to prove it with facts. The millions that the municipality of Struga gives to this company go directly into the pockets of Ramiz Merko and Armen Kadriu, and dozens of bank transactions that we secured and that we will hand over to all the media in the country testify to that.. We will provide them with information about the dates, the amount and subjects of the transactions, but not the original recordings, because we want to ensure the security of the source. The Public Prosecutor's Office and the Financial Police have been notified of all these transactions, and they will have to answer for their non-reaction.

Millions of euros from CITYLIGHT have been paid to the private account of Armen Kadriu and his family and to the account of the PRIVATE UNIVERSITY OF RAMIZ MERKO. These transactions best prove the connection of the MERKO clan – KADRIU with the company CITYLIGHT as well as the theft that happens to us every day. To make the scandal even bigger, The Government of North Macedonia paid during this mandate 50 percent of municipal debts. The Municipality of Struga was awarded more than 2 million, while Ramiz Merko chose CITYLIGHT among dozens of companies to suddenly pay her over 1,2 million euros from those funds. The reason is already known.
On the other hand, we have witnessed the services of this company. Entire streets and villages in Struga are in darkness every night and are not safe at all, including the city center, Radolista, Veleshta, Oktisi, Meadow, Lozani, Vranishta, Mislesovo and many other streets that reported to us.
Ramiz Merko should answer for this crime before the citizens of Struga municipality? I call on the competent institutions to perform their duty, and I encourage the local media to investigate this scandal further. We are ready to cooperate with everyone.

In the end, I repeat our main point: Before each of the promises in our Election Program, our new governance in Struga municipality will start with a ENTIRE REVISION of all the work of Ramiz Merko. All abuses will be disclosed and the perpetrators will be held accountable for every denar wasted from the Strujani Budget.. Dear Struga residents, this is the criminal power of Ramiz Merko from which only two families have become rich, they built million dollar houses, they bought land and great riches, they drive cars worth hundreds of thousands of euros, while the only solution for the citizens and the young people of Struga was to leave their SUITCASES and leave this place.
On 31 October ends everything. The lathe will come into safe hands and clean people.
